Ciccone Youth

Ciccone Youth

By October 15, 2013

Today we are in the sonic groove because music can be such a revelation.

Ciccone Youth was a brief cover/satirical band slash side project hailing from Sonic Youth during the mid- 80s (!!!). They only produced one record under the moniker, The Whitey Album, and was rumored to be covers from the Beatles’ original. However, this special album ended up consisting of amazing gems such as a Moore and Madonna duet of “Into the Groove” and Mike Watt covering Robert Palmer’s “Burnin’ Up”.
